Reflexology For Babies
Course Summary
Seeing and hearing your baby or child in discomfort or worse is never nice! You want to help and this is a course that offers you another tool to help. Reflexology has been used to boost the body and to reduce the effect of pain and discomfort of all kinds for centuries. It is a broad form of therapy with a long history.
This course has 20 videos adding up to over an hour of expert practical guidance that is quick and easy to follow. Silke uses a plastic copy of a baby’s foot and then demonstrates on Alfie, a “real” baby, to show his mother the techniques. She says: “Babies aren’t as easy to work on as a plastic foot but they are much more fun!!”
The eight most common difficulties faced by parents are covered in this course: colic, digestive problems, colds, allergies and asthma, conjunctivitis, earache and sinusitis, sleep problems, and teething problems. And then Silke shows six year old Holly how to use reflexology on herself to improve her overall well-being, her levels of anxiety and for when she has a cold.
Each video is presented in a relaxed manner, in easily accessible language and in a thoroughly engaging style. Silke’s smiling, friendly, positive approach is contagious and will inspire you to work on your baby to help s/he to feel better. As she says the more you practice these techniques the more confident you will be and the easier it will become.
